Engagement Analytics Specialist

You will identify trends, develop strategies, define and track performance metrics for user acquisition, engagement, retention and monetization of digital products. You will be working collaboratively with multiple internal team members and our clients. You are thoroughly familiar with existing practices and emerging trends in the realm of digital, web, apps, and social media.

Core Duties

Execute on the engagement vision within the studio:

  • Continuously develop new insights to inform decision-making and strategies for user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization
  • Identify and deliver analytics needs for our clients: manage expectations, challenge requirements, propose key metrics and reporting for the project, and help establish priorities for engagement work. This includes:
  • work with the CEO to define the project’s engagement vision and communicate this to the client
  • work with the team leads to define and prioritize analytics development work required, and ensure it can be adequately resourced
  • call meetings, identify and communicate risks, notify leaders as appropriate for approvals and check-ins

Specifically:

  • Work with teams and clients to identify key performance metrics and benchmarks related to user behavior, user segmentation, and user retention
  • Collaborate with design team to thoroughly understand the design intentions and design data collection to validate them
  • Create user stories and their detailed acceptance criteria, in consultation with the agile team, to define analytics features that will be developed
  • Track customer behaviors and life cycles, such as response, engagement, and churn and communicate insights and results to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze data for user behaviour, segmentation and marketing campaigns
  • Perform quality assurance tests on tracking implementations
  • Make recommendations on how to improve user experiences based on results of user behavior and patterns
  • Design and implement advanced statistical testing like A/B testing, consulting with product owners and marketing teams to run impactful A/B tests and multivariate experiments
  • Propose areas for user research that would provide guidance to production teams in terms of player experience;
  • Organize and lead sessions used to define performance and measurement requirements from interested stakeholders
  • Provide best practice consulting services to clients in solving their Web analytics platform strategy and technical needs
  • Drive analyst planning meetings with clients and internally, capturing minutes and driving follow-through.
  • Develop and plan SEO and SEM strategies

Communications

  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Write clear, well organized, and concise reports
  • Interpret data sets and package key insights for executive teams and product leaders
  • Employ information design skills to organize data and metrics into clear reports and dashboards
  • Support and influence various teams as the data driven user insights expert
  • Explain trends in player / user behavior and system performance to the executive team
  • Effectively communicate with other members of the team to build and implement in-depth analyses and data visualizations

Software Skills

Intermediate to advanced Excel experience a must

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years working in the field of digital analytics and digital marketing
  • 2+ years of working with standard analysis tools: Google Analytics and at least one enterprise-level platform
